Hi, this is GLIDE on wax, UNIVERSAL means it can be used for ANY temperature vs temperature specific waxes. It comes with everything that you need to wax it. The wax goes on easily and the cork smooths out and works the wax into the ski base. It takes a bit of elbow grease to polish it in well but using a hairdryer as you go makes the job much easier. It's compact enough to fit in your boot bag.
