Our review process:
The daily usage guide you're opting for might totally vary depending on various aspects including your budget constraints, subjective factors like the feel, and other specific requirements. Though we have a variety of recommendations, we pick products that suit most people's needs.
While you may find a guide for any aesthetic preference, we looked for guides that had simple, elegant designs - ones that would appeal to most people - rather than models that adhered to specific aesthetic choices.
We have collected guides from several brands including david m brandenburg, catherine h howell, linda g chafin, roger tory peterson, national audubon society etc., specific to your daily purposes .
Our collection of guides for your daily usage caters high-quality, cheap and value-for-money requirements.

Not everyone likes to purchase guide for their regular usage, but the national audubon society guide to wildflower would be an anomoly. These audubon field guide books are great. It has to be by far one of the best guides to north american wildflowers. It provides photographs and drawings that make identification much easier. The photos are beautiful and they are all in living color for quick identification of wildflowers. It is a fine field guide for general identification in multiple types of habitats but not great on understory plants. It's also fairly compact and good for putting in a day pack.
The pictures are beautiful and useful most of the time, though not all of them have the leaves clear, and the leaves are important in identification. It is a must have for all who want to see what's in your backyard or on a field trip.

For a low asking price, margaret mckenny guide to wildflower has managed to overwhelm their customers by packing as many features as they could. This guide is a nice adjunct to Newcombs guide, the Bible for wildflower enthusiasts This book uses color to seperate the many genus/species which is more of a search and find endeavor. It is made by the most frequently used common name and the scientific name. The black and white illustrations are not bothersome since you already know the flower color, and line drawings show key characteristics clearly. The flowers are organized by color and also by family so with a minimum of experience it's just plain easy to make an ID.
A good illustrator shows the plant in the best light and makes sure the key features are visible and prominent. It is a great book for identifying wild flowers.

We know from years of feedback from readers, customers and amazon sellers, what most people want in a convenient and appropriate guide. The david m brandenburg guide to wildflower is exactly that - it's a simple guide that hits all the right notes. This is an excellent field guide with pictures that are clear and make recognizing a wildflower in the field much easier than with other guides. It is easy to use, but a little heavy to carry, but will fit into a large pocket. The book is also arranged alphabetically by plant family, so you can jump right to that section if you know the family of your unidentified flower.
It is a hefty waterproof guide weighing 2 3/8 pounds. It is best for study and reference. It does cover many species but with very little detail, so it would be decent if you're just trying to identify by looks, but not so great if you need the details. The book itself is thick thus making it a little difficult to carry around as a field guide. It is also arranged alphabetically by plant family, so you can jump right to that section if you know the family of your unidentified flower.

The linda g chafin guide to wildflower's high-end materials makes sure that it ages well with use. While too large to take into the field, it covers many of the wildflowers you are likely to encounter. The color-coded index at the back is very helpful, and the individual listings for the flowers gives plenty of information. It is easy to use the keys and the indexes.
