The buddies wii remote is capable of outshining several other guitar featured in this list in overall features for the price point. This rocking guitar helps you become a Rockstar on the wii. The Wii U console is capable of supporting two Wii U GamePad controllers, up to four Wii Remote (or Wii Remote Plus) controllers or Wii U Pro Controllers, and Wii accessories such as the Nunchuk, Classic Controller and Wii Balance Board. It is 30 inches long with neck, 9.5 inches wide at the guitar body. The frets have such a short travel distance and are perfectly responsive.
The Strum bar feels sturdy and has a distinct click and the buttons are responsive. Buttons are super stiff due to that and they take either a silicone mod or lots and lots of breaking in to make it feel comfortable. It works for PC if you use a bluetooth adapter that syncs with the wii remote. There's actually a cover flap on the back that you can remove from the back that you can remove from the wii remote. It is compatible with any Wii remote and any guitar hero game.

This guitar is pretty sweet. It boasts better reaction times, easier overdrives, and yadda yadda. The first and most notable is the finish, the kit guitar is black & white while the standalone is sunburst. It comes with a drum set (with el cheapo wooden drum sticks for the decent and functional, cymbal-less drum set) and the Rock Band 1 black and white, small plastic guitar. The feel is slightly different to the standard guitar but just different, rather than better or worse.
The stand-alone is nearly identical in materials, weight, and durability, the only visible difference being that the original is shiny black and the stand-alone has a traditional "sunburst" design, not quite as shiny. The overdrive sensor is much improved, setting off your overdrive immediately with no delay.
Why We Like This:
Syncs fine, easy to play, looks good, sturdy and reactive
Works great, just as well as the guitar the game originally comes with
Retooled tilt sensor for improved overdrive deployment
Improved sturdier strum bar for greater precision and accuracy for advanced players

The Blue On this guitar is pretty awesome. It is easy to press buttons that are gentle on your fingers, none of the 'guitar hero nail' syndrome. The frets on RB guitars are square and do not provide a lot of traction, which can lead to your finger slipping and hand cramps. It comes with a wireless donge and no major problems with the set up and syncing.
If you are looking at this guitar you probably already have the game, this is every bit the same as the one that comes with Rock Band 2 for the Wii. The plastic does look a little cheaper than the previous RB2 guitar but it still looks good, you will love the blue color and it is still sturdy.
Why We Like This:
3 aa alkaline batteries included / wireless connectivity
Improved strum bar for greater precision and accuracy / faster, quieter smooth-action fret buttons
