It cuts through the gun powder residue extremely well and softens up lead and copper deposits nicely. There are solvents, oils and greases. The bottle comes with a handy trigger sprayer and a smaller applicator for applying a drop or two of lubricant. It's not too thin or viscous. It is good for gun oil.
