The 3plus floor nailer's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. There are two bottom floor plates you'll need to install thicker plate to use on your 7/8 material. It works really well for an inexpensive gun. It is ideal for installation of asphalt or fiberglass roofing shingles, fastening lath wire on plywood. It’s amazing how the nail pulls in the joint tight. It also works with stapels and l-cleats.
The included hammer is good quality too. It is a easy tool to use and delivers a quality finish. It works just fine for the full day with no jams using 15.5 ga staples into 7/16 bamboo flooring.

Not everyone likes to purchase staple for their daily purpose, but the freeman durable nailer would be an anomoly. This nailer/stapler will work with 5/8 inch and 3/4 inch tongue and groove flooring. It includes a long reach fiberglass mallet with a padded grip, two interchangeable base plates, air tool oil, and adjustment tools. It will blow right through any other material. The PDX50C model looks better made, has a nicer mallet, and weight less than the PFL618BR model. It can be used on 5/8" & 3/4", a very nice machine.
The nails go in flush and deep. It is well made and performed great. It will prove you don't have to spend a lot of cash to get good results.

The 3plus hardwood flooring staple should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. There’s 2 more power levels you have to go up for 3/4” solid hardwood. It is easy to use, accurate tools for hardwood flooring job, get the job done easily. It can shoot 18 gage 3/4-2 inch long brad nails in addition to 1/2-1-1/2 staples with 1/4 inch crown. It's only plastic, so no amount of tightening the knobs will give enough friction to keep the slippery parts in place.
The adjustable flooring foot is light weight plastic and is not going to last very long. The thin rubber grip is comfortable though it might slip or move over time. It is easy to convert to the brad nailer when getting to the edges.

The bynford hardwood flooring staple's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. This nail gun will nail any kind of flooring from the thinnest thickness up to 3/4" thick, and it must be tongue and groove. It comes up nestled on the top of the tongue right at the back. If the stapler is allowed to back out through pressure even a little bit, it will leave a staple high and you will have to work it with a hammer and punch. It includes a plastic case plus will work on 3/4" for work in tight corners etc, but most 3/4" flooring does recommend a heavier fastener.
This tool is powered by an air compressor. It is perfect for engineered products, thinner depth hard woods or certain laminates. It is an awesome tool and a great value to boot.
