The band members all look great, sporting more realistic ( though not entirely ) looks than any of the characters previously seen in the franchise, including guitar hero. It has all the hits, and you even get to be the characters. It comes with 28 metallica songs and 21 other songs that influenced the band, fans will love playing guitars, drums, and singing vocals alongside kirk hammett, lars ulrich, james hetfield, and robert trujillo.
The music is great, it's made up of mostly Metallica songs and then a decent amount of music by other bands. The extras, like behind the scenes videos and facts about the songs and band are a must for the true hardcore fan. There is a total of 52 songs in the Wii version. The electronic arts leading music game should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. Just like every Rock Band game, this one has a really jagged difficulty curve. It is easy to play across all band eras. It is compatible with rock band, guitar hero and most other instrument controllers, as well as third party microphones including singstar and lips. One of these is full three-part harmonies, which challenge you to recreate the beatles vocal blend. The music, as always, is wonderful, and the graphics are spot-on.
