The audiotechnica high end phono cartridge is suitable and reliable and fits well with your daily purpose. This stylus really brings out the mids, and highs, in music, while firming up the low end. It is peach colored with no numbers. It comes with a cap that covers the stylus. The sound is not exaggerated at all and has a really deep and natural sound.

It is definitely an upgrade over the stylus that comes with the turntable. It is compatible with the ATn95e because it has a different style shell. The stylus housing will come right out of the cartridge holder. This fits many different applications.

For a low asking price, audiotechnica elliptical stylus has managed to overwhelm their customers by packing as many features as they could. The VMM95e cartridge and stylus is an excellent cartridge for the money and the fact you can upgrade the stylus later on make it a very good value as well. This is a 1/2 inch mount cartridge and will work with the C. The midrange is very nice, giving the cartridge a slightly forward but still full (or “warm”, if you prefer) sound. It has a crisp and clean sound without being too bright, and the bass is nice and tight.

Installation is fairly easy, as the mounting flanges are threaded so there’s no fumbling with teeny-tiny nuts. The bass and mid tones are much more pronounced. These are quite affordable and are extremely easy to upgrade with a better stylus from audio technica.

Not everyone likes to purchase cartridge for their regular usage, but the ortofon high end phono cartridge would be an anomoly. The Ortofon Omega is a standard 2-screw mount cartridge. It will track those last two songs and tightly packed grooves towards the end of a record side without displaying that annoying screeching sound that lesser quality carts have. It fits perfectly and sounds great.

The Omega is a universal 1/2" mount and that is what the Technics uses. It has only screw mounting, which would fit any dual turntable that has a plug in head. The highs are nice and crisp, the mids are not overpowering and the low end is very clean. If you enjoy a fatter, warmer sound and like the funky futuristic looks of this cartridge, it is very enjoyable for very little cost.
