The gls audio hihat microphone is suitable and reliable and fits well with your daily purpose. This mic picks up great detail and is unidirectional. It's quite a bit stronger than a microphone also. It has a design and a better pop/wind screen. You can just feel the quality of the product and its sound is deep and resonant. The sound of this mic is slightly raspy. It's heft, heavy, and feels well made. It comes with a mic stand holder thing.
Why We Like This:
Great and very robust instrument microphone
Loud and crystal clear on the big auditorium house speaker
Durable and excellent mid range spectrum, in live and studio application

The cad audio drum mic pack is capable of outshining several other microphone featured in this list in overall features in its price range. It is a cardioid, moving-coil dynamic microphone specifically designed for the capture and reinforcement of tom-tom drums and other acoustic percussive instruments. The tom and snare mic is almost at the level of SM57 quality, as far as overall sound capture, DB gain during performance, and they do an excellent job of cutting out random noise from behind the microphone. The mics clip onto drum rims perfectly and stay put.
The kick, snare & Tom mics have the attachment foot molded into the mic case. This stops any clipping or any transfer from the drum next door giving you better isolation. The cardioid polar pattern focuses sensitivity to the front of the microphone while minimizing sources arriving from the rear. It comes with clamps that clamp on to any standard drum head ring. It is designed for kick drum, excellent results are also obtained when used on floor toms, electric guitar, and electric bass cabinets.
Why We Like This:
Includes d19 snare, (3) d29 tom, d10 kick and (2) c9 overhead

The cad audio hihat microphone might be a relatively new release, but it's still nothing short of impressive this year, thanks to multiple price cuts and added new features over the past few months. If you use it for a Kick Drum, its sounds like a Kick Drum. It is a leader in innovative and cost-effective high performance studio and live microphones. The C9 cardioid condenser microphone captures the subtle nuance of acoustic instruments and the presence and attack of cymbals. It REALLY does a great job pickup up the guitar frequencies accurately. It works well for kick drum and bass guitar cabs.
This microphone is perfect if you are looking for your low end punch and don't want to spend high end bucks to get it.
