These things cut through 3/32" galvanized steel rope so easily that it feels like nothing happened it's harder to get a warm knife through butter. It is great for cutting small chain and wire. It is easy on the hands and cuts wire really easy too. It is a mini "Bolt Cutter" which may be able to cut a #12 or maybe a 1/4" grade 5 bolt.
