It comes with it because the blade is plastic but you'll feel it in your hands if you are on top of something you shouldn't be. It is also very light weight but you have to get used to how to angle it to chop stuff down that is kind of thick and set the length right to make sure it is comfortable for you. They have a double string trimmer that you can rewind string onto the reel.

This is not a bad trimmer, it is just lightweight. It is fairly easy to handle, just make sure you have a strong power cord to keep feeding the motor. It provides a heavy duty trim without the annoying string maintenance.
