The speedball block printing ink's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. These premium printmaking inks are all ground and milled to the perfect consistency which create bold prints that dry to a rich, satiny finish. It works well for relief printing but does tend to dry out quickly, so you need to work fast. The red and blue are very saturated primary colors, but there is a lot of white in the yellow so its more of a butter color rather than a primary yellow. It is suitable for photo transfer techniques.

The colors are not light fast (they fade with sunlight or time), no good for shirts. It is THICK like student grade acrylic paint, NOT thin like a dye. It is no messy clean up when using this block printing ink.

Why We Like This:
  • Smaller tubes, so they don't last super long, but great to play around with
  • Basic set of water-based block printing inks
  • Lot of satisfied buyers
