The dorman intake heater hose fitting should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. These are lighter weight than steel. If you have a gm 3.8 motor these are excellent replacement fittings. These go from the Lower Intake to a heater hose assembly and then another from the heater hose assembly to the upper water pump. These won't crack and leave you stranded and overheated on the side of the road. You'll never have to worry about these getting brittle and breaking ever again after replacing these.
These are a must for replacing the old plastic ones. These are a great upgrade from the OEM plastic ones. It's no fine machining or anything, just a regular cast metal part.
Why We Like This:
Great for the gm 3800 motors
Works great to replace the plastic elbows that always seem to leak and break
Good replacement for leak prone plastic fittings installed at factory

We would, of course, be remiss if we didn't mention dorman copper pipe for daily usage. Dorman gives repair professionals and vehicle owners greater freedom to fix cars and trucks. This Hvac heater hose assembly directly replaces the original heater hose on specified vehicle years, makes and models. It is specifically designed to withstand extreme temperature changes and resist cracking and leaking. This goes into the back of the intake manifold.
Why We Like This:
Professionally engineered by the aftermarket leader in heater hose assemblies
Offers original manufacturer quality at lower cost than getting replacement at dealer
