The tactical harness has a soft padded chest strap that keeps your dog's neck from getting yanked when your dog's change direction or forward suddenly. It is perfectly and like the material. There is a third strap which ties the chest and midsection straps together to stabilize the harness and keep the straps from moving too much and rubbing off hair. It has good padding on the inside with no defined chaffing spots.
