The look and feel of this trackballs are consistent with the high quality we're used to from the rest of Kensington's lineup. The movement tracking has actually gotten spotty just from moving the dongle from one side of the laptop to the other, this is on a 15.7" laptop, btw. The vertical scrolling becomes really jumpy when it gets dirty. There's a button on the bottom for ejecting the trackball so it can be cleaned, and to clean the bearings in the socket. The rubber grip strips on the bottom will eventually peel off.

The Logitech, on the other hand, has a really neat tilting function, but only has two settings. They even put in a simple low energy circuit so you are just replacing batteries once a year. The more-vertical mode is still substantially less vertical than the Kensington, which is a bonus if you like that. It is required for bluetooth mode.
