The pennplax leopard gecko enclosure decoration is capable of outshining several other decoration featured in this list in overall features for the price point. It is perfect for an adult leopard gecko. It provides a great swim through or hiding spot for axolotls, fish, and crustaceans, such as crayfish and shrimp. If placed under a lamp, it would make a decent basking spot for small reptiles, but the top is fairly round, not flat, so it isn't the best for that. It is very heavy and will sink, and large fish should not be able to upset it.
Even though, this is for an aquarium, this step ledge would be the perfect size for your gecko. The inside edges are a little jagged, but it is easily filed. If you feel it is too sharp, you can easily smooth the area with a bit of sandpaper or a file.
Why We Like This:
Very good quality, looks like a real rock
Adds expansion of space to bask or hide for reptiles

It will not retain water or promote bacteria so terrariums stay healthier and smell fresher longer.
It is well made, sturdy and can be cleaned with a cloth or toothbrush. It is a bit small but they like small spaces. It looks great at the cool end of the cage for use as a hide, but is no substitute for an actual basking stone under the basking lamp.

We would, of course, be remiss if we didn't mention exo terra leopard gecko enclosure decoration for daily purpose. It provides a secure hiding place. It offers multiple entrances for easy access and adds an extra dimension to the terrarium setup. It takes a few minutes and a small piece of sandpaper wrapped around a finger or two depending on the spot. The plastic doesn't get hot and nasty and is very easy to clean. The spikes are sharp enough to harm a pet, especially if it gets stuck inside it.
