It is easy to use as any other key for taxonomy. It is a very detailed botanical text. The keys are thorough and reasonably (lichen nomenclature is hard, and it is tricky to observe some important structures) easy to use. It is nice to have it spiral bound so you can easily fold it back as it is quite large. There is no more comprehensive key, and the quality of the keys is excellent.
