Best Overall: INBIKE lobster claw Cycling Glove

INBIKE lobster claw Cycling Glove

Inbike makes beautiful and outstanding glove with classic and higher-grade materials. They're pretty good spring/fall gloves. They do an excellent job of blocking the wind from hands and wrists. The pads and rubber designed onto the palm of the glove make it easy to maintain grip on the handlebar and throttle. It is easy to ride with, perfect thickness. It is for the touch, it is sufficient to check the message and start your strava. They’re definitely wind-proof though and thin enough to facilitate shifting and 1-finger braking. It is suitable for winter cycling, running, bike motorcycle driving and other outdoor activities.

Why We Like This:
  • Great fit for people with big hands
  • Well engineered, not terribly warm but perfect for early spring and late fall
  • Great for cycling in cold, dark weather

Best For Cold Weather Bike: Planet Bike lobster claw Cycling Glove

Planet Bike lobster claw Cycling Glove

The planet bike lobster claw cycling glove's superior materials makes sure that it ages well with use. These gloves are FANTASTIC for cycling in cold weather. They come with the outer shell that blocks wind and an inner liner that keeps the hands warm. The half lobster construction has a warm and comfortable fleece lining, covered by a wind and water-resistant outer shell that protects your hands from the wind, cold, and snow. It is easy to pull the fingers of the inner liner inside out.

The ability to remove the inner glove is also nice for when it heats up during the day. They are very comfortable, and their 'lobster claw' grouping of the pinkie and ring finger works very well.

Why We Like This:
  • Really warm and dry two part gloves, a liner and a shell
  • Keeps the wind out, fleece liners that are removable
  • New and hot release

Best For colder fall: Castelli lobster claw Cycling Glove

Castelli lobster claw Cycling Glove

We know from years of feedback from readers, customers and amazon sellers, what most people want in a convenient and appropriate glove. The castelli lobster claw cycling glove is exactly that - it's a simple glove that hits all the right notes. The fleece liner keeps the warmth of your hand in, and feels soft against the skin. The fabric blocks any harsh wind from penetrating to your hands. The Gloves are detailed, the Velcro wrist band is sweet, insulation hefty, and the grip on the underside is a plus. The material also has much better movement allowing for superior dexterity compared to other gloves rated in the 30’s, and overall the quality feels great.

These are little bulky but they are worth it when it’s cold. There is a bit of bulk, but the padding doesn’t shift in the palm when riding and they keep you riding when it’s ugly out. They are also super supple and have a grippy surface. It is designed for the coldest conditions.

Why We Like This:
  • Excellent gloves for cold winter days
  • Fantastic gloves and a great fit
  • New and hot release

Best For numbness: Sealskinz lobster claw Cycling Glove

Sealskinz lobster claw Cycling Glove
Buy on Amazon

Not everyone likes to purchase glove for their daily purpose, but the sealskinz lobster claw cycling glove would be an anomoly. Lobster style gloves are perfect for bike riding as they are much warmer than traditional gloves but allow you to operate your levers unlike full mittens. They have zero touch capability so forget about grabbing and operating your phone at a stoplight, or, even worse, swiping across your Garmin screen to change views. The divider/liner in the fingers keeps them in contact with each other which is the key to keeping them warm, just like mittens.

These are decent at keeping hands warm on cold rides and split finger style gives good control for shifting and brake levers. It can quickly get painfully cold below 40f when cycling. The gloves have large Velcro bands to tighten and spacious wrist cover to give extra coverage. It is good for warmth, but too bulky to play with tiny gear shifters.

Why We Like This:
  • Perfect for large hands, very cold riding
  • As far as wind resistance and warmth
  • Lot of satisfied buyers
