Whether it's for work, emergency travel, or just for fun and Atlas can provide information of the surrounding area that you can't see easily on a GPS. It is great to plan a trip and to see local attractions along the way. It has all the national parks in it as well. It makes looking at each state or each park super easy. This will spark your imagination and your wanderlust, like when you were a kid and looked at maps. It is easy to find what you're looking for due to larger size.

This is very handy when traveling in a car as paper pages get ripped and messed up. The spiral binding makes this much easier to use when traveling. It is a large atlas, might not work as well in smaller spaces, but easy on the eyes and really helpful in areas (like many national parks) where cell service is weak or nonexistent.
