The jabsco new toilet's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. Marine heads are designed to work with raw water (verse fresh tank water) provided via a thru hull fitting. It pulls in water (raw -sea or fresh, depending on how you plumb it) and with a flip of switch, pumps waste out of the toilet either to holding tank or wherever you designate. The base is just to hold the bowl. The discharge can be rotated 360 degrees, however it comes off of the back of the toilet at roughly 45 degrees.
