These sorts of dream-focused puzzles are so creative and out-of-the-box that it makes the game feel genuinely unique. It has the charm of it and the fun gameplay of Superstar Saga. It includes leveling up characters, buying equipment, and battling monsters.

It's charming, it's funny, it has adventure and it offers something different for a Mario game which is wonderful. The story flows, the gameplay has some nice original touches, and the graphics are solid. There's lots of humor, beautiful graphics, and stunning music. The music is pretty good for a video game and defeating the game the first time through unlocks a jukebox that allows you to play the music like an mp3 player.

Why We Like This:
  • Excellent game and a great addition to the mario & luigi series
  • Delivers what they promise

Nintendo is known for creating pragmatic and minimalist game for people on the go. Minon's Quest is basically a behind-the-scenes story on how Captain Goomba, Shy Guy or Koppa and their crew rescue Bowser after Bowser is knocked out from the Beanbean Border. It really has the best writing of the portable Mario RPGs. The added touch of a side story with Bowser's minion's is a nice change of pace.

The gameplay for Minions quest has different gameplay from the main story. You can experience this side story by going back and forth between the main story with mario and luigi or captain goomba and crew at anytime once the mode is unlocked. It's a funny, fun, adventurous game. They will switch automatically when selecting a move.

Why We Like This:
  • Beautiful story line, great combat mechanics, plenty of hours of gaming fun
  • Highly recommended for lovers of the mario rpg franchise
  • You can do tutorialpractice special moves similar to mario and luigi

Mario and Luigi’s Bowser’s Inside Story is the best game there ever was on the original DS. This game is a lot of fun, and by recent trends it might be one of the last 'great's released on the 3DS. The Giant Battle mode in this game is so much better than the original. The 3DS xl is just a bigger screen so it will work with any 3ds games. The scenes and dialogue that ensue will have you cackling like fawful, even in battle.

The Bowser Jr's Journey is a welcome addition as well, akin to the Bowser's Minions in the Superstar Saga remake. The Combats take so much longer to load compared to the DS version and it really stops the flow of the game. This slowdown also extends to some enemy attacks, making them much easier to dodge, and therefore decreases the difficulty of the game. If you're collecting cartridges or just want to play the game after the eShop apocalypse, this one is perfect.

Why We Like This:
  • You match your enemies strengths and weaknesses
  • Amazing rpg with mario, luigi, and bowser
  • Attack enemies, inflict damage, and time your button presses to power up your performance

The mario and luigi dream team game is satisfactory and appropriate and fits well with your regular usage. The game is a lot of fun and very addictive, as long as you can get through the sluggish first few hours. These range from creating gusts of wind to push background objects into the foreground, to hilariously stacking dozens of Luigis atop one another to reach higher elevations. The score matches the theme of the game's varied environments, but you're unlikely to be humming any particular tune after you're done playing.

The game has a "badge" system which, when two badges (one each for the heroes) are combined, afford you special skills and bonuses. The graphics are bright and colorful, and the cartoon-like animations of Mario and Luigi are fluid and well-done. These, along with the games assorted items and gear, are somewhat of an afterthought, as the battles rarely require you to acquire or equip specific gear to win.

It won't put YOU to sleep, Luigi on the other hand.

Why We Like This:
  • Perfect for your mario and luigi fans
  • Delivers what they promise
