Marker has been making great binding for years, thanks to a combination of clever design and appropriate materials. The Marker introduces the new ID Sole technology which allows the Griffon to be compatible with any boot sole including Alpine touring soles and Grip Walk soles. The Triple Pivot Elite Toe has a horizontal spring located in the toe piece which can withstand high energy absorption, avoiding early release from the binding. It is allows for a smooth boot release without dirt, snow and ice effecting the release.
According to the Grip walk website, the ski bindings should have a "Grip walk" logo on them to indicate compatibility. The Inter Pivot Heel almost mimics the toe piece with a spring located in the heel which can withstand high energy absorption, avoiding early release and making the Griffon a great option for people who love to rip. It comes with two bindings.
