The milwaukee impact driver's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. This milwaukee is so much more powerful than a cordless drill. It will drive large deck screws into pressure treated lumber. It installs the screws faster. This can drive the motor to create up to 3, 450 impacts per minute. The tool is cheaper than the battery, and the dewalt comparable unit is slightly light and more well suited for people with smaller hands but this one holds up better over time. The milwaukee favorite tool might be a relatively new release, but it's still nothing short of impressive this year, thanks to multiple price cuts and added new features over the past few iterations. This is a great tool for driving in wood screws. It's powerful and can easily drive 3" deck screws. The "hex" driver is the 1/4 locking (collet) chuck which has been re-engineered with a hydraulic mechanism, overall a better performing tool. It hammers with gentle, surging pulses which tighten or loosen more effectively than the old anvil type, with less risk of breaking fasteners. It has enough for driving screws and moderate lag screws.
The ergonomics are nicer than some of the older milwaukee designs for impacts and drivers and it’s actually pretty great feeling in hand with a decent balance when using slim pack batteries. It is amazingly quiet and powerful and easy on the battery.
Why We Like This:
Super quiet and plenty of power
Is less torque, 4 is the highest torque
Trigger in comfortable and sensitive enough to make miniscule adjustments
All aspects are well thought out and perfect for professionals

If you often find yourself confused about appropriate and satisfactory driver, this product should be your first option for buying. It comes with anything other than the tool in a soft pack. It's strong, and the 3 modes is nice to have. It's a very powerful impact driver, but with the settings, allows it to be tailored to the job without destroying anything. The self tapping screw mode is great. It doesn't drop bits like the old one and has less runout. The tool is great, looks brand new and works fine.
