The Mishimoto has the added bonus of retaining the air resonator which assists in eliminating air pulsations at higher RPMs from cylinder pressure. It's an inlet hose and it comes with a cap for the sound generator tube. It cleans up the engine bay nicely. The sound reduction is apparent, but obviously at high rpm, the sound is there. It is made of quality material. There are just two little plastic bits holding the tube in place and it pops right out of the engine bay nicely. It will add a few extra ponies.
