Not everyone likes to purchase deck for their daily usage, but the pyle modern tape deck would be an anomoly. The FF&Rewind dual cassette deck could've been designed better. It provides very low noise signal and very low wobble or perturbation and good consistent signal level. It has rock steady tape motion and the sound of the transfers seems flawless. There's an included jumper that's shown on the diagram, between the recorder and a "PA" unit with no clue left as to what it does.
The unit does work quite well and sounds good. The micro replacement from the last position of where the tape sits adjacent to the last position before the FF&Rewind helps from 'tape magnetic transfer' as heard on the vocal bridge in Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love.Why We Like This:

The tascam modern tape deck should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. The Tascam deck feels very solid and well-made. This unit can play, record or duplicate all audio cassettes (including metal tapes) and utilizes Dolby noise reduction systems. It does have a noise reduction feature which works very well. There is a physical white switch marked "Voltage Selector" with "230" and "120" settings on the back of the unit. The USB digital out is very good for digitizing cassettes.
This deck has outstanding quality and is undoubtedly more reliable than the ion, marantz profesional and similar clones. The sound transfer quality is absolutely PERFECT. The deck has a "noise reduction" switch on the front right bottom that says "playback only.Why We Like This:
