Husqvarna offers a variety of pulley for personal choice and yet maintaining quality in all the variants. The Husqvarna is a mid to high dollar machine, then engine and the tractor itself is very decent but this mower deck is a shame. It fits perfectly and very easy to replace. It is painted or powder coated for corrosion protection. If the mower blade hits a solid object like a rock, it will strip the splines and be less likely to break the Mandrel or Housing. It is perfect fit, or home-made modifications need to be done to make some generic parts work.

They made at least 2 different spindle pulley sizes on the 42" decks. It is great with re-enforcing the contact that contacts the spindle. The quality is definitely top notch.

They are thinner than the original pulleys by about 3/8 of an inch. The belt runs lower/closer to the mower deck and rubs against the rod that engages/disengages the blade break. They fit the cutting blades perfectly. This is to keep the pulley from bottoming on top of spindle housing. It can be used on a lawn tractor.

The maxpower mower deck pulley is satisfactory and appropriate and fits well with your regular usage. This is for a mower deck and this pully fits to a splined shaft on the bearing housing. It is made of very brittle metal. The pulley nut is worn on the bottom creating enough vertical free play that the pulley will strip within the first two or three hours of use. It is 5 3/16" diameter and it is enough to shear the teeth. This distortion prevents the nut from "backing off. The mower blade hits the top of a tree root and it is enough to shear the teeth.
