It is a great map for planning trips in the adirondacks. It covers a massive area so even though the maps are huge (and impractical for pocket access during hiking) it provides poor detail. You must camp in designated campsites or lean-tos if you're spending the night in that region, which is where Mt. It is easy to find trails to hike.
