D'Angelo's brown sugar is an album you can listen straight through without skipping a track. It is a classic album in every sense of the word. This CD has such a great and interesting groove to it. It also has that real nice laid-back, chilled vibe to it.

It is great to listen to unlike new artists who have about sixteen tracks and only about four are even sort of worth listening to. The vinyl is flat and sounded ok with an average soundstage. This album is definitely for someone who enjoys both soul and jazz.
