The pyle dual cassette tape deck is suitable and reliable and fits well with your daily purpose. This deck lacks Dolby and HX Pro processing that are commonplace in Japanese-designed decks, however Pyle's generic noise-reduction button works fine. It plays and records very well, no problems. There's an included jumper that's shown on the diagram, between the recorder and a "PA" unit with no clue left as to what it does. It has a standard level RCA audio connector at the back.
This is a very pleasant surprise. It will not stop automatic between songs fast forward.

The tascam new dual cassette deck's superior materials makes sure that it ages well with use. This unit can play, record or duplicate all audio cassettes (including metal tapes) and utilizes Dolby noise reduction systems. It has a microphone jack and recording volume control on the front panel of the unit. The buttons are snappy, and the small screen on the front displays real audio meters. They can playback and record normal and chrome tapes, and playback only of metal tapes. It does have a switch on the back for use with 230v European household currents, if you are using it there.
This is a fantastic deck, especially when the rack mounts are removed. It comes with a stereo install panel that makes it a bit wide and bulky, but easily removed with the turn of four screws if you aren't attaching into a cabinet. The sound transfer quality is absolutely PERFECT.
Why We Like This:
A decent modern alternative for a cassette deck
Headphone jack output with separate level control for audio verification or private monitoring

We know from years of feedback from readers, customers and amazon sellers, what most people want in a convenient and appropriate deck. The pyle new dual cassette deck is exactly that - it's a simple deck that hits all the right notes. This cassette deck is designed to be connected to a stereo system. It provides further control over the end result. The Pyle deck has Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR) which appears to reduce hiss by cutting back the high frequencies. It provides a complete description of the unit's features as well as how to connect.
The sound quality is kinda crappy, but it has no pitch or wabble in the sound. If you're looking for something to play back old cassettes this deck will do the job. It is a component in a component stereo system. The Pyle deck is working well and the old tapes still sound fine via the PM amplifier and speakers.
Why We Like This:
Very easy to set up and play

Full-featured, plus dual cassette sides allows transfer of cassette contents to new cassette
