Pyle Dual Cassette Tape Deck

The pyle dual cassette tape deck is suitable and reliable and fits well with your daily purpose. This deck lacks Dolby and HX Pro processing that are commonplace in Japanese-designed decks, however Pyle's generic noise-reduction button works fine. It plays and records very well, no problems. There's an included jumper that's shown on the diagram, between the recorder and a "PA" unit with no clue left as to what it does. It has a standard level RCA audio connector at the back. It will not stop automatic between songs fast forward.

This is a very pleasant surprise.

Why We Like This:
  • Cheaply made and just loading the cassette is a battle
  • Purpose fluorescent display for ease of use
  • Great product and very easy to hook up
  • Auto-reverse, and the controls are a little stiff

While not as deluxe, it works very well and has great sound quality. The Pyle deck has Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR) which appears to reduce hiss by cutting back the high frequencies. It allows transfer of cassette contents to a new cassette.

This cassette deck is designed to be connected to a stereo system. It will work with any receiver/amplifier. The Pyle Dual Cassette Deck is a back to the basics player/recorder. It is nice to be able to find an unused dual cassette deck.

Why We Like This:
  • Rough mechanical levers, noisy tape drives, sophomoric documentation
  • Brings back a lot of old fun memories
  • Helpful for those who have legacy music cassettes
  • Very easy to set up and play

It is a double cassette deck featuring two, one-way cassette decks, mic mixing, a usb digital output and other versatile recording features. It allows one to monitor (or cue) one cassette, with headphones, while the other cassette is playing. The W-1200 (for this purpose) has Dolby calibration markings on its VU meters. It is used for copying or duplicating a cassette from deck a to deck b. The flurescent display has brightness adjustment. It functions the same as the timer switch on any other cassette deck. This ensures a true-to-life reproduction.

Why We Like This:
  • You can make dual recordings from line in or microphone
  • Solidly built with some very good features
  • Plays wonderfully and transfers them to the computer as they were recorded

Pioneer New Tape Deck

The pioneer new tape deck's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. The W205R offers everything you need in a 21st-century cassette deck. It is outfitted with dolby b and c (dolby b reduces noise by about 10 db, while dolby c knocks it down 20 db), and it will play (but not record) tapes encoded with s-type noise reduction. There is a switch on the front that you can move to one of three different settings.

The heads are good just clean them with a q tip and rubbing alcohol. It is a little noisy during reverse, clicks and clacks as the heads reset. It can play one side of the tape and stop, or it can play both sides of the tape and stop, or it can play both sides of the tape continuously. These are some of the best tape decks made.

Why We Like This:
  • Dolby b and c noise reduction, auto tape-type selection
  • Delivers what they promise
