The ubisoft nintendo wii disney game is capable of outshining several other game featured in this list in overall features for the price point. The dancers are films of real people superimposed on colorful backgrounds. It's fun to dance with the music. The different modes (like the Balloon popping and cooperative modes) add some extra depth for them to explore. The songs are all clean but cool enough for them to want to use it over and over.

This game would be great for a small child (under 6) with a high level of focus and ALOT of patience. There's no true workout mode but you can create playlists or play random nonstop songs for a set amount of time. It really takes 10 seconds to choose both options. There is also a parents' dashboard which lets you see how long the game was played on what days and how many calories were burned.

Why We Like This:
  • On-screen lyrics help kids learn the words and sing along as they dance
  • Fun and active for disney kids
  • Gives words at bottom so adults or older kids can sing along
  • You can play cooperatively and earn points together

This game is perfect for 1 player or 2 players. It takes everything great from the first two DS games, adds a solid dose of improvement and uniqueness, and gives the player a very hands on adventure. It has detailed three-dimensional graphics on the television and all new gameplay features. The controls for controlling both yourself and your Spectrobes during a battle are seamlessly intuitive. It comes with a new story that reveals secrets from the past through flashbacks of significant events.

The game features more than a hundred different spectrobes and players are able to carry several at any one time, as well as various character armaments. As a monster-training game, it will inevitably feel like a Pokémon knock-off, and its storyline isn't great, but the gameplay is engaging and fun.

Why We Like This:
  • Mercy attitude and demands playing dirty during the tough boss battles
  • Good investment for long term
