It comes with fountain pens (or any pen that has a built in inkwell, like the kaweco ink pen for example) and using the wrong ink. It glows wonderfully and flows like a dream onto the paper. If you mix a little of this with regular colored fountain pen ink, it adds a little glitter. The yellow markers work best as the color has the least contrast.

This ink dries invisibly on many different kinds of paper, and is detected easily with a regular black light. It's very difficult to write for any length with this ink without a UV/blacklight to see what you're writing. The ink definitely spreads so that there is almost a green glow around the writing.

It flows fantastic and drys quickly. It is also waterproof. It is good for taking notes, signing letters. It is more of an eggplant/raspberry appearance and doesn't seem overly feminine and purple as it is so close to black. This is an excellent really dark purple ink.

Noodler's ink was able to obtain some viable vintage inks with extremely patriotic labels. It is an excellent, beautiful turquoise ink that resembles the color of clear, high sky of early afternoon. It is water-resistant (as all vmail series inks) which is hard to come by among good turquoise fountain pen inks. It comes with those inks as models and a little bit of reverse engineering and close modern replication the originals come alive again in their own v-mail ink series. This is a very super saturated ink which is good for that shock of color on the page. The ink flows well. It is fun to journal with.
