It has gaps to allow oversized items to fall out so you don’t damage the teeth. It is made by recyclable heavy duty 304 grade stainless steel, and rugged iron frame and table mount components are all designed for years of use.

The grinder teeth are held onto the main drive shaft and secondary drive shaft by two (presumably) 5/32 x 3/4" tension pins. It grinds apples into a pretty fine pulp as is. It fits nicely over a 5 gallon bucket. It is suitable for very small fruit.

It can be used for pressing cheese, and you need to prepare a filter bag first. It keeps most of the smaller particles out of the solution.
