If you want nothing short of the best possible lock for your daily usage, this product is certainly a worthy investment. This is a good heavy duty lock that is easy to use. It is encased in ultra hardened steel to resist drilling or pulling. It does not impress and will not be used, but the lock lays nicely on the rear rack, secured by velcro straps. It comes with pretty much everything you'll need plus a whole bunch of spare keys so you can leave some at home or the office.
This thing is heavy, highly visible, and does exactly what it needs to. The additional lock is flexible, and easy to use. The frame bracket is very useful. It is worth the money and it is easy to use.

The onguard cable lock is capable of outshining several other products featured in this list in overall features in its price range. The U-Lock continues to work flawlessly. It grabs the Shackle on four sides instead of only two and just feels like a heavier more secure mech. This thing is pretty stout looking. It fits around the largest rack poles. The key has never had issues sliding into the keyhole. It will span the distance of the rear frame on a fat bike. This lock is even better designed. It is perfect for powersport applications.

It is great to have a bunch of keys in case you lose a few. It includes 5 laser cut keys. The key with an LED light is a nice touch too. It is easy to defeat and it is easy to lock and unlock. The smaller size of u-lock is the safest since it gives less wiggle room for possible thieves to try and steal your bike.
This key may not be fully functional for long, but it's a welcome addition. It is good value for a solid lock. The lock itself is heavy and strong.

The onguard bike lock is suitable and reliable and fits well with your regular usage. Mounting brackets make it super easy to mount it anywhere on your bike. The U-Lock itself is very sturdy and heavy duty, but the frame mounts not so much. It is made of hard plastic. The lock is on the smaller side ( but is heavy duty ), which creates greater security, but also equates to less flexibility. The quality is top-notch. The bracket is sturdy, but the whole assembly is a bit heavy. It does come with a bracket to fit on your bike frame.
Why We Like This:
Bulldog mini with 4 foot fully coated, braided steel cable for greater locking versatility
Strong and but not too heavy
Looks tough, feels solid, keys/locks work smoothly

The Good Small U lock doesn't fit as many lock situations but since it's fairly light you can pair it with a cable & lock. It has actual center grooved keys, not the cylinder keys that can be picked with a standard bic pen. The mounting bracket is nicely made and the lock goes in and out easily. The little yellow rubber ends shift and you have to adjust them to the locking holes. It's solid and sturdy. The "mini" size should work on any good quality bike rack, though it is not big enough for parking meters. It's not heavy at all.

Onguard makes beautiful and great lock with classic and smartly choosen materials. It is better to keep one at work or at home while not used instead of carrying one around. This lock comes with 5 keys, which is great if you ever lose one. It fits around plenty and also it is the 8010 lm standard bulldog. It comes with 4 keys, one with a light. It has a mounting unit on it, which can be removed. It certainly feels solid enough. It is easy to attach and can be attached in many different positions. This works as visual deterrent since for the thieves it will take too long to cut the metal bar.

A great, solid, and unbreakable lock
Very handy for the daily bike commuter

Compared with other products by Onguard, the onguard great lock has a convenient design. It reduces so much rattling common with most u-locks. The curved part of the u has some sort of handle or something on it. It is great for bicycle messengers. The clip fastens securely to the frame and the lock fits snugly into the clip. While the pack has a nice, large pocket on the side ideally suited for a lock, it's not very accessible without removing the bag.
The user interface is just a little bit easier to use than the kryptonite. The package comes with a note that reminds users to do some maintenance 2 times a year to make sure the lock works well for a long time.

Onguard is known for creating pragmatic and a cost-effective lock for people on the go. The comparable Kryptonite lock, the Mew York Fahgettaboudit mini also has an 18mm shackle but weighs 4.55lbs. It involves putting two screws around your frame and it's almost guaranteed to screw into your paint. It works well and comes with five keys. It's also heavy, so not very comfortable to carry around, although it comes with a holder to install on the frame. It's easy to throw in your bag.
It's a small lock so it will not go around both the frame and the front tire if you remove it. It's tamper-resistant.
