Crown Shades has been making great bag for years, thanks to a combination of clever design and appropriate materials. This canopy works perfect at the beach. The carrying bag sized 48''x6.69''x6.69'' comes with wheels, strong zipper and rubber handle. The center pop-up mechanism is equally awesome. There are also two “weep” holes on each of the four sides of the canopy (photo 2) that allow water to drain...which is better than having it collect and have the whole thing collapse under the weight. The holes in the feet are big enough to use the large nail type stakes, great.

The unique mechanism for deploying the canopy makes this a stand perfect at the beach. The bag does not cover the shade when closed. The vented top works well to prevent light wind moving it around too much but its still necessary to properly anchor it down and it does still keep water from dripping down. It is not that difficult to put up by yourself, and it is very nice.

It slides right up, then you lock the legs into place. It will fit in a SUV or station wagon. It is pretty easy to put up with two people. The canopy itself is awesome. It will survive high winds and can be done by one person. It takes maybe 5 minutes to put it up, without hurrying.

There are 2 Velcro straps that can securely hold them when they are stacked. If you turn it inside out, the zippers will not engage and the Velcro will not attach to outside.

It’s really well built and fabric great, but really meant to be temp. It’s aluminum so won’t rust. It can be put up by yourself, but so much easier with another person.
