The key is to install the ceiling brackets to your ceiling joists in a manner that will allow you to hang the 6 vertical brackets at the appropriate spacing. Many of the pre-drilled holes are very tight and require considerable force to tighten the screws. These are meant to be installed perpendicular to the joists so each cross member is screwed into two separate joists and the weight is supported on 6 joists total. The screws are fine, but the threads are made directly into the light gauge metal frame, meaning there are just a couple threads for the screws to catch on.
