The william f powell color mixing book should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. If you struggle with mixing colors, this book is indispensable. It includes a plastic insert to use for mixing the correct amount of colors which is like missing the correct amount of food in a recipe. The recipes are underneath and you can see the range of possibilities from just these three or four tubes of paint. The bulk of the book is filled with "color recipes" that contain a range of colors and the paint recipes used to create those colors. There are also lots of yellows, reds and neutrals.
This is a handy little quick-reference book for artists, especially those that are new to mixing color. The opening pages are the "Before You Begin" and the color theory and the colors that will be used for the recipes used to create those colors.
