The 400 series double pedal offers drummers an amazing value without breaking the bank. The 2-way beaters, built-in spurs, key-side-adjust hoop clamp, standard spring tension adjustment, steel auxiliary pedal plate and built-in drum key clip make this pedal easy to dial in to your own personal playing style. The beaters are hard plastic on both sides, which makes getting different sounds from them more difficult than reversible beaters that have felt on one side and plastic on the other. The pedals even work with a regular drum set so they're versatile.
The major setback of these pedals is the fact that you cannot change the angle of the beaters. The pedal is very good, with decently solid construction and good adjustability, which is to be expected from pacific. There is a slight lag on the left pedal, which is normal for any double pedal configuration, but you'll quickly compensate for that as you get used to a double pedal if you are moving from a single pedal to a single pedal.
Why We Like This:
Very flexible pedal with great tension but not too much to speed pedal

Best part: pdp by dw best foot pedal costs comparatively low and it is available to ship in 24 hours. As for slow tempo beating, it does feel different, like you don't have enough power, but again, this is a thing one can get used to. It is a low mass cobalt blue direct drive aluminum cam. It features you would in a normal pedal. The control is so much better, no loose feel or wiggles that alone can make you kick better.
These are used for double stokes and extreme metal and they are working. It is great with 8" electronic bass kick pads.
Why We Like This:
Very smooth and easy to set up
Great med-budget pedals for double bass with a great smooth feel

Next on the list, we've got yet another pedal that manages to win our hearts. It's the pacific drum and percussion pdp direct drive double pedal and it's widely considered as pedal that has the most suitable features. It works perfectly fine with the drum module on the Alesis Nitro set, and the double-bass pedal works perfectly in conjunction with the Yamaha bass drum pad. It is easy to play, while its dual-post primary pedal, steel baseplate, and telescoping linkage with universal joints are built to last. The beaters also have better sound.
Why We Like This:
Perfect replacement with the alesis nitro mesh drum set
