It can lift some pretty big logs and hold them for cutting. It is good for hoisting smaller logs off the ground so they can be cut into smaller pieces. This jack is amazingly strong and steady with no more dull chains from hitting the dirt while bucking the log into firewood lengths. The padding on the handle is comfortable. It is easy to assemble and it works extremely well.
