The look and feel of this pulleys are consistent with the high quality we're used to from the rest of Petzl's lineup. If you haul, or need a crevasse rescue rig, this is the one you want. This progress capture pulley is bomber, easy to use, lightweight, and practical. They are similar in how they work except the micro traxion requires you to feed the rope through the sheave vs simply opening the cheek plate on the pro-traxion which saves time and energy. It can work well as an ascending device too. Both models have a self-jamming mechanism which will hold your load or stop your fall. It is great for top rope soloing.

The micro traxion pulley is bomber, easy to use, lightweight, and practical. It can be used in the proper manner this little wonder is incredible.

It is a pulley-carabiner with a gate opening on the pulley side that facilitates installation of the rope when the pulley is fixed to the anchor. The petzl great pulley might be a relatively new release, but it's still nothing short of impressive this year, thanks to multiple price cuts and added new features over the past few iterations. This unit is incredibly well built (as with most Petzl gear), strong and durable. It doesn't feed through on top of the spinning wheels, but sits on top and then you connect a carabiner to the wide mouth opening at the bottom of the pezl. This unit is also very easy to clip on/off of a wire and is then secured from below. The carabiner then attaches through the opening, preventing the trolley from coming off of the cable.

The Petzl is very high quality, strong, and performs perfectly every time. This one has worked great with no visible wear. The wheels show no sign of wear and it is MUCH faster than the Tandem so you must adjust the angle of the zip line to slow it down. This tandem is excellent, very good quality, smooth in both cases, for transportation and being used for a zip line, recommended.
