The "tool" is the part that the user holds during use. It almost feels like the blade can go into the tool when rotated 180 degrees (axially), but it doesn't quite work, so be careful or you might damage the blade piece or the tool. The handle isn't terribly grippy but it isn't uncomfortable nor cursed with sharp, hard edges.

The shape of the bit is such that you can insert it in the holder in any rotation you like. It will not last a lifetime nor, even, extended use but is sufficient for running networks through at least a couple homes. It is easy to change out with other heads if the need arises.
