It is a thinner designed stylus that is usually designed along with the shank as one piece. It is with a 100pf/47k load at the phono preamp (a graham slee reflex m) and another 100pf or so in tonearm cabling. The sound is excellent and the 1000 hours of play time gives great value.

The detail retrieval and surface noise reduction are excellent. It will improve with a little running in, and some tracking weight/vertical alignment/anti skating tweaks. The sound is rich and improved bass.
