Compared with other products by The Piano Guys, the the piano guys piano music has a convenient design. A cello adds to the song, but on those occasions you don't have a cello player handy, the music still sounds terrific with just a piano. This is a very challenging collection so it's definitely not for your intermediate or beginning player. The arrangements are lovely and will bring that signature piano sound into your home.

These songs are beautiful but, as piano solos, most of them don't cut it as far as being able to stand with only the piano part. The optional cello parts are well, quite optional. It is an extremely difficult song book but it also contains extremely beautiful songs. The cello part is optional, but without it, the songs do feel like they're missing something.

The Piano Guys makes beautiful and great music with classic and smartly choosen materials. These guys are truly gifted musicians, and are a rare treasure. They take this book to their piano teacher and love learning the songs in this book. The mix of classical and modern twists are very fun and make for a great change. If you play piano, this is pretty advanced music in general, or at least intermediate.

The cello is featured prominently with the melody almost exclusively in the cello part in the remaining four arrangements. It would be really amazing as a piano duet. This book has music that is more suited to accompanying the cello. It's beautifully arranged and great if you have someone to play with.

If you want nothing but the best desirable music, then this product is the one you should definitely consider, as it manages to bring a lot to the table. This book has wonderful pieces in it. The 'optional' cello part is not really all that optional if you want something that's going to sound more like a song and less like repeating arpeggios. It is for most of the songs, you can only hear the melody in the piano part of the time. This would be a great book for a pianist and cellist.

The Cello part is still difficult but the piano is easy enough for a beginner that is close to intermediate. There is a separate booklet included with the cello parts. The Piano is great is made easier than the other books. This book has wonderful arrangements for a piano and cello duet, however the piano part is usually missing the melody if the cello is not playing.
