Best Overall: Playstation 2 Capcom Classic Collection

If you often find yourself scrambling for good collection, this should be your first option for buying. The X series, from its very inception, was meant to advance the Mega Man name into a more hardcore direction, and it most definitely succeeded. It takes place 100 years after the events of the classic Mega Man games, and features a new cast of characters, villains, and a very different type of conflict. The game has anime cut scenes which are nicely animated by 1990s standards, and the game plays well. It is designed to expand on the tried and true formula of the original Mega Man titles.

The games in and of themselves are classics, true, true, classics. It is a classic for all megaman lover's as well as beginners. The design of the stages are all lazy and boring. The games are as fun (or not, in the case of X6) as they ever were, the level designs are as well-planned (or not, in the case of X6) as you remember.

Why We Like This:
  • Nice, catchy tunes carry you through the whole shebang
  • The best way to play the classic megaman x games
  • Excellent compilation of classic snes games

Best For PC: Playstation 2 Capcom Classic Collection

The playstation 2 capcom classic collection's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. If you're a fan of the Mega Man X series, you'll definitely enjoy this great collection of games in the X series. The incentive to bust through the first three titles lies in the fact that once completed, you'll unlock Mega Man Battle and Chase, which is a Mario Kart-esque racer that was only released in Japan. It features like animated cut scenes, remixed music, and mortified (& somewhat cheesy) sound effects.

The first two stages of Sigma's castle are fun, even though they too, feel similar to each other. It is able to improve on already established elements (like sliding, hidden items, stage design, etc) and innovate them to generally positive results. The save function is a good replacement for the passwords and makes less hassel than having to write them down. The games are as fun (or not, in the case of X6) as they ever were, the level designs are as well-planned (or not, in the case of X6) as you remember.

Why We Like This:
  • One of the new comers and featured product
  • Delivers what they promise

Best For street fighter fans: Capcom street fighter Game

Capcom street fighter Game

If you are looking for a popular collection for your regular usage, you cannot go wrong with this pick. If you're looking for an arcade-perfect port of alpha 1, 2, and 3, then this collection is a must have. It includes characters from street fighter, darkstalkers, and a character from an arcade exclusive fighting game "red earth" all in super deformed chibi designs. It includes survival, arcade, and dramatic battle modes and also a training option in case you wanna practice with your favorite character and go out their kick sum major butt.

This game is so good, it's much simpler than a 2D fighter and much more light hearted, as well as very fun. There's secret dip switches so the games can be truly arcade perfect.

The game is incredibly responsive and comes with some neat extras and a game that was never released at home outside of this package. It's just unnecessary and the man's voice is beyond cringe worthy. It has very high "replay" value in that sense.

Why We Like This:
  • Great game, includes some of the best versions of street fighter
  • Contains 5 games, one of which is the hugely popular alpha
  • A must-have for street fighter fans and ps2 gamers

Best Mega Man Collection: Capcom fantastic Collection

Capcom fantastic Collection

If you often find yourself confused about appropriate and satisfactory collection, this product should be your first option for buying. Seriously, if you haven't gotten the chance to play these games, especially the Nes-era ones, this is a great option. It features a truly unique, if sometimes goofy, cast of robot masters. It includes great footage from the original mega man tv series.

This port of the game is rather unique in which they have an " easy mode " - in which there are either less enemies or no enemies to deal with. These are recorded by analog means by amateur sound technicians and it's always best to play the game in its original mode. The games play just as they did originally, which means they're still hard, fun and classic.

The game also has an "auto-save" feature so that you don't have to wrtie down all the passwords and such. It can be used in mega man 9 & 10, and a save feature.

Why We Like This:
  • Good compilation with the classic blue bomber
  • A fantastic collection for classic mega man fans
  • You can unlock lots of bonuses by beating each of the games

Compared with other products by Capcom, the capcom arcade game has a convenient design. This game is truly a very good and classical game. The main selling point of this compilation is the Street Fighter collection, which offers a unique gameplay option. It includes the snes version of super hosts and goblins, along with the arcade versions of ghouls and ghosts and ghost n goblins. This collection has them all plus final fight and 19 other arcade games.

These retrospective works span nearly a decade of video-game history to take you back to the days of crowded arcades, pockets full of change, and the excitement of holding bragging rights to the high-score rankings. This game is truly a very good and classical games. It's your basic beat em up side scroller game. This disc is great fun and well-worth the twenty dollars you will spend.
