It will be enclosed in an proper outdoor receptacle box with a cover, and hopefully will last something close to the 10 years +/- one can expect from a GFCI receptacle. It is easy to install, fitting securely in the receptacle of the previous outlet. The side screws do not have a clamping plate but rely solely on the screw to hold the wire.
