These are pretty much "pop filters" for reducing the popping sound created by a vocalist exhaling or the wind blowing. The windscreen helps filter out wind/breeze if you're outside and will help a tiny bit with breath but only just a little. It works, but comes in two pieces that look like they alone lock onto the microphone. This works great as a pop filter and it makes the mic look very nice and professional.

This thing is literally some foam with plastic base to screw onto the mic, but there's nothing else to it. It is literally held in place by screws. The locking left a stretch mark on the mic body and the foam isnt too strong. It is easy to install and even less importantly, makes the mic look great.

This windscreen is designed to work with a shure sm57, which is much smaller and thinner. It mimics the deadened sound of an iso-booth, while being in a "live" room with hard surfaces. It has a plastic net inside that maintains a 'bubble' around the microphone, then two types of foam. It will make the mic look small by comparison.

Essentially, it creates the same amount of distance between the voice and the microphone capsule, about 4-5 inches, which is the same distance from the SM7b's capsule and the end of its foam. It is great for close talking applications. It is bombproof when it comes to plosives and wind noises.
