The portercable review might be a relatively new release, but it's still nothing short of impressive this year, thanks to multiple price cuts and added new features over the past few iterations. This gun is so much better than dragging hoses and compressors all over the place. It keeps up and frees up a lot of space in the van. It has the feel of a compressor based nailer. It is really bulky and won't fit into as many tight spaces as a pneumatic nail gun will.

This thing will shoot an 18 gauge nail twenty yards through the air. The depth gauge dial is very handy when switching between pine and hard woods. It is very nice to have multiple batteries on hand when doing finish work through an entire house.
