It fits a vintage craftsman saw perfectly. It is compatible with plain end blades. These are plain end saw blades, which means they don't have a pin on either end of the blade. It is easy to distinguish from skip tooth having two teeth together followed by a flat space for more efficient chip removal.
These are 5" blades which are standard length for scrollsaw blades. The blades that are designed for metal cutting last longer and make a cleaner cut. These are all co-mingled in the different compartments. It is best with 1-2 reverse teeth showing above the table on the upstroke.

These blades cut through 1/2" Baltic Birch like butter. They cut fast and cleanly. They are super sharp, cut straight, and turn a tight radius. They are very sharp. These are made of the finest carbon steel for maximum strength, durability and longest blade life. They don't break, bent and last a reasonably long time. They do last much longer than the regular Olson blades and these are said to be comparable to the Flying Dutchman brand. This blade lasts through an entire project without having to be replaced.
