The album is 180G, and the box comes with good pictures, a DVD and booklet with commentaries from other artists related to the release of. There is also a live concert album as well.

The Extra tracks from the vault are just a bonus on the CDs. This is a must for serious Prince collectors. This is a must for any Prince fan especially if you like to collect memorabilia.

The prince great collection might be a relatively new release, but it's still nothing short of impressive this year, thanks to multiple price cuts and added new features over the past few iterations. Every Prince song you can name off the top of your head is on this collection. This is a core document from an amazing artist. The 3 CD Set album is more than a collection, it's full of gems that will put any Prince fan at ease. The liner notes are solid and provide a good intro to pre1993 Prince before things get testy with Warner Brothers. The liner notes with some background information and history of the recording process of some of the songs add to the experience that is this set.

These are available as casual fan-friendly single cds or as a 3cd set that gives the more serious fan the chance to own both volumes along with a collection of prince's finest b-sides. The B-sides disc is full of singles. This is a must have for Prince fanatics for the bsides, and if the new fans are willing to shell out this cash, its worth it for the bsides.

Almost brilliant in it's minimalist nature, the album has a stripped down nature that no popoular musician would have the guts to make today. Listening to it again, this album is a rocking electrofunk that pushes the envelope lyrically. It's fun and tight.

The Dirty Mind" is comprised of recordings originally intended as a demo, and as such it is remarkably free of the aforementioned excesses. It's a must for all Purple Fams to have. There's some nice rhythm guitar on the funky side in the background, though, though. The closing chant on this song further drives this point home.

For a low asking price, prince iconic album has managed to overwhelm their customers by packing as many features as they could. This set is the 2 CD Deluxe Remastered set and it is a beauty. It features all the single edits and now-classic b-sides. The packaging is gorgeous with lots of photos in a gatefold type sleeve. It adds extra stuff that takes away alot of the original sound and music. The sound is superb now, no analog hiss and the songs sound better than ever. The set also includes 18 Promo mixes and B-sides that Prince officially released in and around the world.
