Prince has been making great collection for years, thanks to a combination of clever design and appropriate materials. It is some of the amazing guitar work (It is Dickerson that does the song's guitar solo) that really gives this song the edge. It allows tracks like "automatic, " "d.m.s.r., " and "delirious" to sustain their long playing times. It is made with so much care & pride.

This song is soulful and lovely and romantic. There is a "Radio Friendly/Commercial" portion (first three songs) and there is a "Less Commercial" (remaining songs) portion. The entire album provides a funky party-like mood. This is a very solid CD which will get any party hopping.

This is a necessary item for any music collection especially. The liner notes are solid and provide a good intro to pre1993 Prince before things get testy with Warner Brothers. The songs are well put together and funky.

The 3 CD Set album is more than a collection, it's full of gems that will put any Prince fan at ease. The full length songs are best when left unedited for the listener experience, musical genius and overall appreciation of the music itself. This is definitely a 5 star purchase because the music is awesome and you'll listen to it many times. It's incredible, the immense talent of this man. They include solos by guest saxophonists Maceo Parker, Najee and Candy Dulfer, along with solos by NPG members John Blackwell (Drums), Rhonda Smith (Bass), Renato Neto (Keyboards), and Greg Boyer (Trombone), as well as Prince.

These three CDs are terrifically performed, and the sound quality is excellent. The music is real and stright from the heart and soul and you can feel it,Real good stuff. There is also a nice booklet included with pictures and comments from the concerts.
