The scubapro great snorkel is suitable and reliable and fits well with your daily purpose. It is a great little snorkel. It is perfectly sized mouthpiece, very comfortable. You can use it while scuba diving but only while you are at the surface, you would need to switch to your scuba regulator to breath when you go underwater. It does a good job of staying out of the way of you use it while diving yet works well for snorkeling.
